LIFE ON THE WATER – TROY AND TJ LEAF

NBA Player TJ Leaf and Sureel Fishing Owner Troy Leaf are two fishermen with lives built on their passions.  Many people dream of playing professional basketball, others dream of spending every day on the water fishing – TJ and Troy have blended their careers and passion into one. These guys work hard, fish harder and have a lot of fun doing it!

TJ has been playing professional basketball for five years. 

In 2021 TJ played in the NBA playoffs with the Portland Trail Blazers.  As a kid TJ’s dream was to play in the NBA, when he went from UCLA to playing professionally, it was a dream come true.  During the offseason you can find TJ fishing with his brother Troy.

As owner and operator of Sureel Fishing, Troy is on the water most days.  His earliest memories are fishing with his dad and grandpa, and now he’s making a living creating fishing memories for others.  Sureel Fishing is based in St. Pete, Florida giving people access to one of the best fisheries in the world! 

Many people work jobs they hate and live for the weekends.  Not these two brothers, when they get a day off from “working” at playing basketball or fishing – you’ll find them fishing or playing basketball.
